 Late Sh. Mahendra Kumar, Advocate born of
October 27, 1927 a real doyen activist and philanthropist rose to
the occasion and this spectacular contribution in the field of
education has earned him a place among the stars of galaxy of
those who lived for a noble cause.
Domain Expert, founded the college of
Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Polytechnic & Medical and
Research Centre, felt a great need for a Law Institution in this
town for providing Legal Education in different manner.
Once he visualized this need, he immediately
took-up the project & successfully completed his ambition of
establishing a Law College equipped with most advanced techniques
& technology to provide Legal Education and as a result of his
untiring efforts, S.D. College of Law came into existence in July
2003.
He left for heavenly abode on June 14, 2005.
His sweet & cherished memory will always be the inspiration for
the followers. The real tribute to this Legendary will be, if we
do not spare any of our efforts to make this institution a
glittering star in the field of Legal Education. |

 The S.D. College Association have been
established with the purpose of advancing the course of study of
professionalism and to cater the needs of society by developing
professional skills in the students so that after obtaining
qualifications from its institution, they can face the daunting
challenges of life in a new liberalized environment and globalize
economy. Future generation have too many onerous tasks to deal
with and to achieve them in the complexities of social, political,
scientific and economic matters.
The management of S.D. College Association
has taken challenges to them our students in the real dynamics of
decisional structures, The S.D. Campus to achieve its objectives
has established a fairly good core faculty in whose hands and
patronage young and bright students are moulded.
We are confident that our Institutions should
be recognized with difference and perspective professionals shall
bring a good name to our Institution.

|
 The changing nature of this world has changed
almost everything including the nature and scope of
Legal-Education. As a result more text book reading and passing
annual/ semester examination is not enough to meet the new
challenges of modern world. One needs to be fully acquainted with
the day-to-day changes taking place in various branches of Law,
such as Intellectual Property Rights, Taxation, Laws relating to
Cyber Crimes, World Trade Regime and so on and so forth.
S.D. College of Law is therefore, a fine
opportunity for students of Law as well as faculty member to
explore and expose their critical legal abilities to outside world
from time to time. I as a Chairman want that our students should
become the problem solvers in the world and not simply the
facility enjoyers. They should learn and inculcate the busy
pleasure.

 The 21st century is a century of
knowledge where knowledge is a commodity and the students will be
developing new fields of knowledge based society.
S.D. Institution believes in the theory of
Low Cost, High Quality and aspires to make Thousand Flowers
Bloom in its premise.
In a very short span of time S.D. College of
Law has established its name in the field of professional
education. With the help of its team of dedicated faculty members,
this college imparts quality education to students.
We are trying our best to provide environment
to our students so as to prepare them to face the challenges of
today s world and to face tough competition of changing times. Our
main focus is to bring overall development of our students along
with creating awareness towards importance of moral values in our
life. Of course, we want to create future professional and
managers but with high values of ethics.

 Dear Student,
I am glad to invite you to the S. D. College
of Law. The college has always stood as a testimony for the noble
objectives of the S. D. Society. In particular, the college has
been making sincere efforts to produce committed and efficient
professionals thereby contributing to the growth of the legal
system in the country.
This success has been possible by the never
ending and dedicated efforts of the qualified and experienced
teaching staff, guest lecturers and the support staff. Added to
this are the curricular and extra-curricular activities of the
college that ensures joy and development of your personality, I am
sure, you will be extremely satisfied with your decision to join
this institution.
I am proud to place it on record that with
the continuous assistance and guidance of Sh. Deepak Kumar, the
patron, Sh. Ashok Sareen, the chairman, Sh. Sharad Aggarwal, the
secretary and the members of the Board of management of S. D.
Society and the college Governing Council, the college team of the

Welcome to the SD family. Welcome to S.D. College of Law, Muzaffarnagar. This college has a long history of having produced some of the best legal brains of our country.
The college’s firm commitment is to inspire the confidence and imbue courage in the students to meet successfully the challenges in the profession and inculcate the professional culture of advocacy and instill a sense of loyalty to serve the needy persons in the society.
The college is equipped with a team of dedicated and experienced faculty ever ready to guide the students in academic and extra academic activities and the college has a library with good number of text books and law journals as well as periodicals for catering needs of the students.
